Outdoor sculpture exhibitions in the region

Olana State Historic Site

The view of the Hudson River and a visit to the home of famous artist Fredic Church are reasons enough to travel to Olana. This year, however, they added a third reason why Olana is a place to visit this summer. There is an outdoor art exhibition Fallen by Jean Shin. The exhibition talks about the devastating loss of trees while surrounded by the beauty of nature. This exhibition is now – October 31st. For more information, visit:

Omi Art

Art Omi is a 120-acre outdoor sculpture garden in Columbia County. Art interacts with green hills and forests to create a unique experience with art created by artists from all over the world. Although Art Omi does not charge visitors, it is important to remember that parking is very limited and it is first come.

Opus 40

Opus 40 is a sprawling sculpture built and sculpted entirely in blue stone. It was created by artist Harvey Fite. He worked there for almost 40 years until his death. During the summer, Opus 40 will host tours, outdoor movies, yoga, nature walks, music events and more.
